Who we are

The LumiRise App (LumiRiseApp) is the controller of personal data collected and processed through the platform available at https://lumirise.app. We offer digital products — such as online courses (paths), templates, prompts, and mini web applications — with immediate access after purchase. We operate from Brazil and serve clients both domestically and internationally, complying with the General Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LGPD) and applicable equivalent legislation.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what your rights are. By using our platform, you agree to the practices described in this document.

What data we collect and why

We collect and process personal data to facilitate the purchase, delivery, and use of our products, improve your experience, protect the security of the platform, and comply with legal obligations. The data we collect includes:

  • Registration and contact data: full name, email address, and optionally, phone number. We use this information to create and manage your account, send communications about purchases, and provide support.
  • Purchase and payment data: transaction history, products purchased, date and amount of the purchase, and payment metadata provided by the processor (Stripe). We do not store complete credit or debit card numbers — this information is exclusively the responsibility of the payment processor.
  • Product usage data: information about how you interact with the purchased content, such as lessons or modules accessed, study time, and progress within the paths. This data helps us personalize your experience and improve our products.
  • Device and browsing data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, and access times. We use this information to ensure the security of the platform, prevent fraud, conduct statistical analyses, and improve website performance.

All processing purposes are based on legal grounds provided by the LGPD, including contract execution, legitimate interest, legal obligation compliance, and, when applicable, your specific consent.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to ensure platform functionality, understand how you use it, and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Cookies are small text files stored in your browser that allow us to recognize you on future visits and offer a personalized experience.

Types of cookies we use

  • Essential cookies: necessary for the basic functioning of the platform, including session authentication, security, and navigation. These cookies cannot be disabled without compromising the use of the site.
  • Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager (GTM) to understand how visitors interact with the platform, which pages are most accessed, and where we can improve the experience. This data is aggregated and anonymous.
  • Marketing and advertising cookies: we employ the Meta Pixel and the Facebook/Instagram Conversions API, as well as Google Ads, to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, display relevant ads, and understand conversion behavior. These cookies help us optimize advertising investments and reach the right people.

Consent banner and your choices

When you first access our platform, you will see a cookie consent banner. Marketing and analytics cookies are only activated after you explicitly consent. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones, or customize your preferences. Essential cookies will remain active regardless of your choice.

You can review or change your cookie preferences at any time through the banner settings or directly in your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies; please refer to your browser's help section for specific instructions. Keep in mind that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality and user experience of the platform.

Payments

All payments on the LumiRise App are processed by Stripe, a global payment platform that is secure and certified to the highest industry standards (PCI-DSS). Stripe collects and stores payment data, such as card number, authentication data, and banking information, as necessary to complete the transaction.

The LumiRise App never stores complete credit or debit card numbers. We receive from Stripe only transaction metadata (amount, date, payment status, last four digits of the card) for the purposes of purchase confirmation, receipt issuance, and order management. For purchases in Brazilian reais (BRL), payment via Pix may be available as an additional option, also securely processed by Stripe.

Artificial intelligence

The LumiRise App uses artificial intelligence tools in the production and customization of content offered in its products. These tools help us create texts, suggestions, exercises, and materials more efficiently and personalized. All content generated or assisted by AI undergoes thorough human review before being made available to you, ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with our values.

In some cases, aggregated and anonymized data about product usage may be used to train or adjust AI models, always respecting your privacy and without identifying you individually. We do not share personally identifiable data with AI providers without appropriate legal grounds and, when applicable, your consent.

Emails and communications

We send emails to communicate with you in two main ways:

Transactional emails

These are necessary messages for contract execution and platform operation, such as purchase confirmation, receipts, access links to purchased products, password recovery, and important notices about your account. These emails cannot be disabled, as they are essential to ensure that you receive what you purchased and can use the platform safely.

Marketing emails

With your prior consent, we may send promotional communications, product updates, special offers, educational content, and other marketing messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each message or by sending a request to contato@lumirise.app. Unsubscribing does not affect the receipt of transactional emails.

We use the Resend service as our email sending provider, which handles your data according to best practices for security and privacy.

Data stored only on your device

Some of our products include installable web mini applications (PWAs) that offer practical functionalities, such as note-taking, personalized checklists, and progress tracking ("continue where you left off"). It is very important for you to understand how these mini apps work:

All personal data you create within a mini app — your notes, lists, reading progress, or any other content generated by you — is stored exclusively and locally in your browser or device storage (local storage). This means that:

  • These data are never transmitted to the LumiRise App servers. We do not have access, do not receive, and cannot see what you write or record in these mini apps.
  • Your notes and progress do not sync between different devices or browsers. If you access the same mini app on another phone, tablet, or computer, it will be empty or show only the data created on that specific device.
  • If you clear your browser data, uninstall the app, switch devices, or reinstall the browser, all this data will be permanently lost. The LumiRise App cannot recover it, as we never possessed it.
  • We do not offer backup, cloud synchronization, or any recovery mechanism for data stored locally in mini apps. You are solely responsible for making backups of your personal content if you wish to preserve it.

We recommend that you manually copy any important information created in the mini apps to another secure location (such as a document or note-taking app of your preference) if you want to ensure that you do not lose it.

Data sharing

The LumiRise App does not sell, rent, or commercialize your personal data to third parties. We share your data only in the following situations:

  • Processors and service providers: we share data with companies that help us operate the platform, such as payment processors (Stripe), hosting providers, email delivery services (Resend), analytics tools (Google Analytics), and advertising platforms (Meta, Google Ads). These partners act as data processors under our instructions and are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the specified purposes.
  • Legal obligations: we may disclose personal data if required by law, court order, legal process, or legitimate government request, or to protect our rights, property, security, or those of our users.
  • Corporate transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or restructuring of the LumiRise App, your personal data may be transferred to the successor entity, always under adequate protection.

When we transfer data outside Brazil, we adopt appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses and compliance certifications, ensuring that your data remains protected in accordance with the LGPD.

Data retention and security

We store your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our contracts. Transaction data and tax records are kept as required by Brazilian legislation (typically five years). Marketing data is retained as long as you maintain active consent; after cancellation, it is anonymized or deleted.

We adopt technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, or improper disclosure. This includes data encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, continuous monitoring, and periodic security reviews. However, no system is completely immune to risks; we recommend that you also protect your access credentials and notify us immediately of any suspicious activity.

Your rights and how to exercise them

The LGPD and equivalent legislation grant you rights over your personal data. You can, at any time:

  • Access your personal data that we hold and obtain a copy of it.
  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
  • Delete your personal data, except when there is a legal obligation to retain it or a need to fulfill a contract.
  • Request the portability of your data to another service provider, when technically feasible.
  • Withdraw consent for processing based on consent, such as marketing emails or non-essential cookies.
  • Object to data processing based on legitimate interest, providing justification.
  • Request the anonymization or blocking of unnecessary, excessive, or improperly processed data.

To exercise any of these rights or clarify doubts about the processing of your data, please contact us at contato@lumirise.app. We will respond to your request within the legal timeframe (typically within 15 days), which may involve requesting additional information to confirm your identity and protect your privacy.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) if you believe that your rights have not been respected.

Children and adolescents

The LumiRise App platform and its products are not directed to individuals under 18 years. We do not intentionally collect personal data from children or adolescents without the express consent of parents or legal guardians. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor without proper authorization, we will take immediate steps to delete it. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, applicable legislation, or services offered. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email (if we have your address) or by a prominent notice on the platform. The updated version will take effect on the date indicated at the top of the document. We recommend that you review this policy regularly to stay informed about how we protect your data.

Your continued use of the platform after changes are published means that you accept the revised policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you should discontinue use of the platform and, if desired, request the deletion of your data.
